Following the overwhelming success of the Bologna Extra in Arco Bronze, we now present to you the Bologna Extra in the stunning green Arco Verde material. The Arco Verde celluloid is rarer even than the Arco Bronze and is highly coveted by pen lovers. To complement the intense dark green of the Arco Verde, this pen will be available in two trims: yellow gold and rhodium. All pens come with our majestic 18k MagicFlex nib in #8 size and the high-capacity compressor filling system.

This pen will be numbered and it will be a limited production: the number of pens is limited by the amount of available celluloid.

ASC Bologna Extra Arco Brown

The pen is crafted from the same celluloid that Armando Simoni used beginning in the 1930s for his Arco Bronze pens.

This ASC model is larger in length and girth than the pens that Armando Simoni produced in this style. It is equipped with a larger vintage style roller clip in rose gold finish. Pen lovers will appreciate the superb writing characteristics from the combination of a large (No. 8 size) ‘Magic Flex’ 18K solid gold nib with rose gold plating, and an innovative ebonite feed that flexes to provide superb ink flow. Everything about this design enables you to vary the line width by changing the amount of pressure on the nib as you write. Be careful not to push too hard, as you can bend this flexible nib.

Bologna Extra Bologna Extra Israel 1948-2018

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel, Armando Simoni Club has designed a special limited edition fountain pen. We are proud to present the Bologna Extra Israel 1948-2018. Made of the striking Blue La Royale vintage celluloid, this oversized fountain pen sports a number 8, 18 karat gold MagicFlex nib and a special ebonite feed

The nib has an engraving of a menorah and the name Israel in Hebrew.The barrel and cap bands are adorned with Stars of David, as well as an inscription that reads “Israel 1948-2018”

when the finial of the cap is unscrewed: a piece of Bethlehem olive wood decorated with the Hebrew letter ayin which symbolizes the Hebrew name of the State of Israel: “Eretz Yisrael”. 

 The piston filler has an engraving of the names of the seven founding fathers of the country.

ASC Bologna Wild Dark Side

The newest addition to Armando Simoni Club is the Bologna Wild Dark Side fountain pen. This pen is crafted from the exquisite 'wild' celluloid and finished with superior black ruthenium trim, all handmade in Italy.

This ASC model is larger in length and girth than the pens that Armando Simoni produced in this style. It is equipped with a larger vintage style roller clip in ruthenium finish.

The Greek Key pattern appears on the cap band as it has since Armando Simoni introduced it on his pens. Greek Key bands now also decorate the barrel above the grip section.

Pen has a superb writing characteristics, from the combination of a large (No. 8 size) ‘Magic Flex’ 14k solid gold nib with ruthenium plating, and an innovative ebonite feed that flexes to provide superb ink flow. The ASC Bologna Wild Side fills using the high-quality original Ogiva piston-filling system. This pen will hold quite a bit of ink, allowing your pages to flow.
