These are all Japanese motifs, done by the great MASTERS of the early Namiki (PILOT), Platinum and lesser known pen companies .

Dunhill-Namiki Emperor #50 black
RARE

This is the mythic from 20-30's.
This fountain pen is in very good condition and rare.
We can see the inscription "Dunhill Namiki Made in Japan" on the barrel.
The nib size is a huge #50 Dunhill Namiki.
The clip bears the inscription "Dunhill" on it and the cap has two gold rings.
The fountain pen measures 16,8 cm. |
PILOT FLYING CRANE

This one is a Pilot maki-e from 20-30's in very good condition.
The barrel depicts a crane flying. On top of the crane, on the cap, there are several dark clouds.
The fountain pen is a lever filler.
The fountain pen is signed on the barrel.
The clip bears Pilot on it.
The nib bears "Pilot 14K made in japan #3".
The pen closed measures 13,5 cm. |
DUNHILL NAMIKI
GOOSE & PINK

This Dunhill Namiki is quite rare. In 2002, Dunhill reproduced this exact pen, bearing the original patterns.The last one sold in 2014 for 56000 euros in a french auction house was similar to this one.
The clip bears the name Namiki.The cap has a gold ring and the inscriptions R14K.
The end of the barrel is engraved with "Made in Japan". The pen is a Namiki lever filler.
The nib bears the inscription Dunhill Namiki 14K#3. The ink stain on the nib has been since removed.
The pen is not signed.
The pen measures 13,4 cm when closed. |
FLYING KINGFISHER
Interesting early pen signed IKKO Kiyose, but no KOKOKAI (pre-1930). Bird is flying over what looks like a cemetary, with branches in it's mouth
